Proverbs 16:3 – Want True Success? Commit Your Plans To The Lord

Proverbs 16:3 – Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

The bible is filled with so many promises from God to them that would only believe.

Commit = to give in trust or charge; to pledge (oneself).
To Commit spiritually is to entrust, especially for safekeeping; to commend, to commit one’s soul to God.

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and you plans will succeed. In other words, Lay the matter before God in prayer. Seek God’s will in every area of our life. At every big or small turns, listen for His voice.

The world tells us that the measure of success is the accumulation of wealth. Jesus declares these words in Luke 12:15 – Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

Proverbs 16:3 – Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

Psalm 32:8 – I (God) will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not upon your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path.

Is there some situations in your life that need to be addressed? Commit them unto the Lord!

Lay your plans before the Lord on today. Ask God to give you insight into His Word. Ask God for Wisdom and Godly motives.

When we commit our plans to the Lord, here is what we are saying. We are saying “Lord, we trust you, we give you permission to take our plans into Your hands, our every thought, and we yield them to you willfully.”

Matthew 6:33 – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

God is Sovereign. He is the one who holds in His hand the success or failure of our plans. So it would make good sense (be wise) that we seek Him at the start rather than at the end of our situation.

When we seek God, He will reveal His plans and our plans will change to reflect His will and they can do nothing but succeed because they are indeed the Lord’s plans for us.

Job 42:2 – I know that You (God) can do all things, no plan of yours can be thwarted.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

GOD BLESS AND TELL THE LORD THANK YOU FOR GIVING YOU A RIGHT MIND TO KNOW THAT IT IS ONLY THROUGH COMMITMENT TO HIM THAT TRUE SUCCESS COMES!

I love you all with the love of Christ.
