2 Corinthians 4:8-9 Down Does Not Mean Out

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

Paul, who experienced one down time after another on his christian journey from being persecuted, shipwrecked, threatened, beaten, imprisoned, falsely accused, etc., knows what being down and out is all about. Every time, with the help of the Holy Spirit,Paul was able to bounce back from the trap the enemy had set for him. For Paul said we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; preplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed!!

We all encounter trials of one kind or another. We all have a period or season that we go through hard times in our life whether we ask for it or not. Trouble has a way of showing up without our permission! COULD I GET AN AMEN? AMEN!.

The good news about trouble is the fact that trouble do not last always and everything that we endure or will have to endure, Jesus has already been there and done that! Jesus says in the bible John 16:33 these things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

One day you will shine again because down does not mean out! You may be knocked down, But not out forever, you may lose our way but you can get back up again, So get up, get up, You gonna shine again.

It’s never too late to get back up again. One day you will shine again. REMEMBER, DOWN DOES NOT MEAN OUT WITH GOD!

Sometimes we just don’t know which way to go. Life has a way of throwing us a curve ball now and then. Sometimes we face circumstances that are so confusing that we honestly don’t know what we need or what we want or what would be best. Paul himself said in Romans 8:26 that sometimes we don’t know how to pray. There are moments when the pressure is so great and we are so tired and worn out and life has become so confusing that we honestly don’t know what to say to the Lord. Fatigue wears us all down eventually.

When we are confused, Jesus is not confused. Sometimes we are puzzled and perplexed by life. That is ok, because down does not mean out!

It is only when we are at our wit’s end when God can truly begin to work on our behalf., Often, He does his best work when we have given up completely.

REMEMBER , when you are feeling hard pressed on every side, crushed, perplexed, in despair, persecuted or abandoned, you are not out of the game because “DOWN DOES NOT MEAN OUT”!

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you.
