Read Acts chapter 1 & 2 in it's entirety.
Pentecost = Fifty. The Fiftieth is a prominent feast in the calendar of Ancient Israel celebrating the giving of the Law on Sinai, and also later in the Christian liturgical year commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the remaining eleven Apostles of Christ (Judas had hung himself), included in the 120 Disciples in the Upper Room, after the Resurrection of Jesus.
Jesus ascended up to Heaven 40 days after His resurrecton and 10 days after that was the day of Pentecost. That is where the 50 comes from. 50 days after the resurrection.
The 120 in the upper room prayed while they waited. They were all on one accord. They received the promise of the Holy Spirit who would comfort them. The Holy Spirit was described in Acts 2 as the sound of a mighty wind and burning fire! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY.
There is none like our God. He is truly the Sovereign God.
Tell the Lord thank you for His comforter, the 'Holy Spirit" who leads and guides us into all truth and righteousness.
Thank you Lord.
