John 3:16 & John 15:13 -Love Lifted Me

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 15:13 – Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Good morning God’s people, God wants you to know on today that He loves you! Proof of that love is seen at Calvary in the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Knowing that Christ loves us enough to die for us should be the reason that you are able to lift up this morning out of whatever pit the enemy has tried to put you in.

Love lifted us Saints! Whatever situation you arose to this morning, God’s love can lift you up out of it!!

At that old rugged cross on a hill call Golgotha over 2k years ago, love, salvation, faithfulness, joy unspeakable, peace, comfort, wholeness, righteousness and life everlasting all came together to grab a hold of the hearts of those who would only believe.

God proved it through death!

God’s love is the greatest gift we can receive! It is out of God’s love that I was lifted up out of sin, death and destruction. Yes, love lifted me!

Romans 5:5-8 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Yes, love indeed lifted me! Love can lift you on this morning!

Scripture declares in 1 John 4:19 – We love because God first loved us. Not only did God love us first, He loves us eternally! His love for us never fails. It is from everlasting to everlasting!

God’s love is supernatural, it is sacrificial and it is indeed satisfying to our heart, mind, body and souls.

No, we may never be able to comprehend or understand how much God loves us, but we can always see the evidence of His love at Calvary and throughout our lives in the things that He is doing, has done and will continue to do for us.

Let’s listen to the bible description of God’s love.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8a Love never fails.

There is a song that was written by a famous song writer by the name of James Rowe that is title “LOVE LIFTED ME”! Let’s listen:
I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more, But the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I.

Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Love lifted me!
All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him I’ll cling,
In His blessed presence live, ever His praises sing,
Love so mighty and so true, merits my soul’s best songs,
Faithful, loving service, too, to Him belongs.
Souls in danger, look above, Jesus completely saves,
He will lift you by His love, out of the angry waves.
He’s the Master of the sea, billows His will obey,
He your Savior wants to be, be saved today.

Take the time to read this song and where it says love lifted me, put your name where (me) is. Keep saying it over and over again and watch God lift you up out of that pit that you have found yourselves in on this morning.

LOVE LIFTED ME! I pray this is your testimony on today!

It all starts with love!

God bless and I love you.
