Philippians 1:12 – For My Good & For God’s Glory

Philippians 1:12 Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.

The book of Philippians is one of Paul’s prison epistles, written while on house arrest in Rome. Incarcerated, but yet able to still teach and preach the Gospel!

Paul was falsely accused. He doesn’t know when he will be released or what will happen to him. Paul knew that regardless of what his condition may be that God was with him, therefore he could be content in whatsoever state he found himself. He knew that every situation was working for his good and for God’s glory!

Paul boldly states that he knows without a doubt that his suffering was not in vain. Because of it, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was able to be spread through all nations.

Paul is able to rejoice in his suffering by his belief n Romans 8;18- For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Paul knew that his suffering worked for his good and for God’s glory!

Apostle Paul declares these words in 2 Timothy 4:8 – And now the prize awaits me–the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

If Paul dealt with his situation like many do today, these verses would have been a sad chorus of “woe is me,” aimed at anyone who would lend a sympathetic ear.

Apostle Paul says that through his suffering, the fulfillment of God’s mandate on his life, to take the Gospel to all nations was accomplished. It all worked for His good and for God’s glory!!!

Saints, as painful as what you may be experiencing this morning, believe it or not, it is all working for you good and for God’s Glory!

NOW TELL THE LORD THANK YOU! FOR HE IS THE KING OF GLORY! LET HIM COME IN AND SUP WITH YOU!

He wants to receive the glory out of your life on today and everyday!

I love you all with the love of Christ.

REMEMBER, “IT IS FOR YOUR GOOD AND FOR GOD’S GLORY!

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you.

I love you all with the love of Christ.
