Proverbs 12:15 - Do Not Be Fooled By Your Own Way

Proverbs 12:15 - The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.

Proverbs 3:7 - Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.

Isaiah 5:20-21 - Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!

Ephesians 5:15-17 - 5 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Proverbs 21:2 - People may be right in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their heart.

Proverbs 4:7 - The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

2 Corinthians 4:18 - 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Sad to say, but many today are looking for answers to life from themselves or others who are just as corrupt as them. They have been deceived into thinking that they know what is best and right for them and not God. They believe that they have the right to do whatever they want, say whatever they want, live however they want and do whatever is acceptable in their sight. Oh, what a sad state on the day that reality of God's Word encounters this man, woman, boy or girl!

We live in a day and time where no one likes to be told how to live. Society says there is no right or wrong and many have accepted that thought. They are living a life without any thought of their eternal destination. A life that pleasures itself in "me, myself and I"!

Israel had the same problem that we have today. Judges 17:6 “In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” This mindset is repeating itself today in our world. Society says do as you please, no rules, no guidelines, no instruction manual for living is available, eat, drink and be merry.

God says in Matthew 7:13-14 - 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

You may have deceived yourself into believing that you are right in your own eyes, but God judges the heart. Be very careful to not be fooled by your own way. Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is death.

Clear vision is God's vision. Turn the pages of His Word and you will see that what He sees. If our view is opposite of His, it is us who need to have our lense corrected through the Word of God.

God wants us to pursue a relationship with Him and to live according to His word. But when in our own eyes we see all forms of evil as pleasure, always enticing us, and we allowing ourselves to be led by evil in an attempt to be fulfilled, sooner or later we will realize that nothing we do or try will be fulfilling apart from God.

God loves the sinner, but He wants the sin we live in to be removed. Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. John 3:16 6 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1 Corinthians 1:19-20 - For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Do not be fooled by your own way! It is a path that leads to destruction and eternal separation from God!

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for spiritual vision. Sight that leads to life everlasting with Him.

I love you all with the love of Christ!
