Proverbs 4:14-15 – Warning! Do Not Enter The Path Of The Wicked Nor Enter The Way Of Evil

Proverbs 4:14-15 – Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. 15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on.

In this text, the wisdom of God is speaking! He warns us not to attempt to get on nor travel the path of the wicked. We are also warned not to participate in their evil doings. Why? the path of the wicked is the way of evil. Do not step foot on that path! Regardless of who it is that is traveling on it!

When we have obtained Godly wisdom and understanding through the Word of God, we are therefore able to travel the path of righteousness that is spoken of in Proverbs 4:18- But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

When we walk in light of the Gospel truth, there is an illumination (light of the Holy Spirit) within us that radiates out. The Word of God causes us to become spiritually enlightened. When we choose to walk the path of wisdom, we are enlightened as we continue to walk that path.

Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

To those walking in the path of the Gospel truth, God declares these words to us in Psalm 119:105- His word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. In other words, the Gospel is our guide to right living and a light on the path in which God commands us to travel, directing our every step along the way.

Warning! Do not enter the path of the wicked, nor partake of their evil doing!

Proverbs 16:25- There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Spiritual separation from God in eternity.

Hell is a real place! Luke 16:22-23 – The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. Read the entire story in Luke 16 in your spare time.

Isaiah 55:11 – So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Remember, you have a choice to make in this life. Which will it be? The path of the wicked or the path of the righteous?

With all the evil and evidence of it in the world today, your choice to choose the path of righteousness and wisdom should not be questionable. Remember, in all your getting, get understanding. True understanding about Christian living can only be found in the Word of God! There is no other source of righteous living than God! He is it!

Matthew 6:24 -Choose ye this day whom you will serve! WHY? For no man can serve two masters.

WARNING! Proverbs 4:14-15 – Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil. 15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on.

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for wisdom, guidance, knowledge, power and understanding in His Word! Thank Him for daily keeping you on the path of righteousness for His name sake!

I love you all with the love of Christ!
