Psalm 46:10A – When God Appears To Be Silent, Be Still

Psalm 46:10a- Be still, and know that I am God!

Where is God when it appears that the enemy is wrecking havoc in my life? Where is He? Why does He appear to be silent in the midst of my storm? Does the pain in your life makes God seem so far away? Are these your question on today? I believe this is the question of many on today.

When God appears to be silent, be still? Do you believe that God has abandoned you in the midst of your situation? Are you asking “where is God right now” because He is taking too long to show up?

God’s command to all of us on today is to “be still and know that I am God.” To be still means to stop, to cease, to let go, to surrender, to rest so that God can be in control and not fear, panic and anxiety.

Indeed we are living in “troubled times”, but that does negate the fact that “God is God”! He is Sovereign and in control of everything, regardless of what it looks like. Be still and know that He is God.

God word declares that He will never leave us nor forsake us for He is with us always, even unto the end.

God is for us. Romans 8:29-31 – For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:32 – He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things? All thing include peace when God seems to be silent in your life.

God wants to give you rest this morning with these words “be still and know that I am God.”

To you on today, I say “be still and know that God is God”! Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord your God.

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for being an on time God.

I love you all with the love of Christ.
