Psalm 91:4 God Promises To Cover You

Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

In a world where trouble seems to be on every hand, uncertainty on every corner, threat on every street, confusion and doubt in the minds of many who do not know nor believe in God and fear in the hearts of many who confess God, God makes this promise to those that belongs to Him.

Saints, God promises to cover us. To shield and protect us from every enemy. He will cover us with His wings, we will be safe in His care and His faithfulness will protect and defend us.

The Psalmist here described The "Sovereign God" as a shelter, an armor and a protector of His people from the snares of the enemy. He declares that God's arms are a place of refuge and strength from the believer's enemies.

Who is this God that makes such a promise of protection to you and I on today? Let's listen: His name is "The Most High God" (`elyôn), the name by which he was known by Abraham and the patriarchs. The Exalted God, the God higher than every false god. (2) The Almighty (shadday), the God of Might, the ruler of all. The LORD or Yahweh, is the name by which God revealed himself to Moses, the great I Am, the eternally existent God. (3) My God (´ĕlōhīm), the Strong One, Creator and Mighty.

Oh what a promise! Under God's outstretched arms we can find the protection we need. It is under these arms of the Almighty God is where we can rest assured of His safety and  protection. God promises us on today saints, that those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

If We continue to believe God and take Him at His Word, He promises to protect us even to the extent of these things. Let's listen to things that God promises to shield and protect us from in vs#5-6 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

God also declares to you and I on today that under His protection these plagues shall not come year us. GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!!! Let's listen to what God says concerning us in vs#7-8 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

There is a guaranteed promise to all those who would trust and believe God. This faith is available to all who would receive it. Romans 10:17-17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You have heard the "good news" on today. What are you gonna do with it?

Your promised place of shelter from the enemy in every storm of life depends on your faith in Jesus Christ. If you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, this promise is a guarantee to you. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, this promise can be yours if you would only receive Him on today. If you do, God promises to you also, to be that hiding place that you too can run to.

Yes, many speak the name of Jesus in the time of trouble and danger, but the psalmist here on today is speaking to those who are connected to God. Those who continue to trust and believe Him, regardless of life's circumstances. Those who continually look to Him, He will protect.

Are you seeking shelter from the enemy? God is and can forever be your place of refuge if you would only come to Him on today. He already knows about your situation, He is just waiting to hear from you. When you do, you will find rest and peace like never before. In the arms of Jesus is peace, rest and protection.

Will you trust on Him today to be your place of safety? If you do, He promises to cover you!

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for all his promises are yea and amen in Christ Jesus.

I love you all with the love of Christ.
