Psalm 95:6-8 Come Kneel Before The Lord In Worship

Psalm 95:6-8 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

The Psalmist commands us on today to "come". Come and find intimacy and a personal relationship with God by faith through worship. Come let us worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Come kneel down and worship our God for He is our maker and our God. We are His creation, the sheep of his pasture.Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol him with.

Today, God is looking for true worshipers.  John 4:24 - For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth."

God is bidding all to come to Him in worship on today?

Isn't it wonderful to know that we have a God who loves us enough to call us to Him? A God who is more powerful than all, A God who is Sovereign, A God who is all knowing, A God who declares that He loves us so much that He sent His son to die on a cross for you and I? This God, Our God commands us to "come" worship Him on today.

God declares to us on today that He is our God and our Maker. We are His people and it is He that made us and takes care of us.

Psalm 100 puts it this way: Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Today, many hearts are harden. They have been bruised and battered by life and the choices they themselves have made and they are blaming God for it. They have made their choices and when it did not work, God became the one to blame for things not working out. In the process of blaming God, many hearts have become hardened.

God says to you on today "if you hear His voice, harden not your heart as those did that were in the wilderness, prior to entering the promise land.

What is true worship to God? Let's listen to what God has given us in His word through the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers,1 by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2-Do not be conformed to this world,3 but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

God is speaking to us through His Word on today. He calls us to obedience. He says to us, ‘Obey My voice’.  When God told Israel to obey, Jeremiah said sadly, they did the opposite. Their hearts were harden. Let's listen to Jeremiah 117-8 -7 From the time I brought your ancestors up from Egypt until today, I warned them again and again, saying, “Obey me.” 8 But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but that they did not keep.’”

God’s Word is not just something to think about, it is something to obey!  When God calls us to obedience, we’re not to say, "I’ll think about that later, I have more time, I am too young, that is for old folks, I will think about it when I need Him. No, now is the time! Now’ is the time to obey the Word of God. Obey ye now the voice of the Lord for He is indeed calling you.  Time is winding up! Seek ye the Lord while He may be found.

Jeremiah 38:20 - Obey now the voice of the LORD in what I say to you, and it shall be well with you, and your life shall be spared.

There is a decision to be made on today! I urge you to take the advantage of the opportunity to "come" and worship the Lord on today while you still yet have time. Harden not your hearts when you hear the voice of the Lord. Surrender! Come to Jesus!

There is a song that says "Come to Jesus" that goes sorta like this: Come unto Jesus while you have time Come unto Jesus, make up your mind. He will make your life brand new, Oh He will take care of you. Come to Jesus while you have time. Just knowing Jesus sure has paid off in your life. Come to Jesus while you have time
Though you may not have a friend. He'll go with you 'til the end. Come to Jesus while you have time.

God bids us to come on today. Hebrew 4:16-So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Come and kneel before the Lord in worship on today for you will be glad you did. He will lift every burden, He will take away that stony heart if you would just "come" bow down and worship Him on today.

Will you come?

God bless and tell the Lord thank you for another opportunity to get it right with Him. Will you do it now?

I love you all with the love of Christ.
