1 Peter 4:3-5 - Move Past The Slander! You Are No Longer Condemned

1 Peter 4:3-5 In the past you gave enough of your life over to living like the people who do not know God. You gave your life to sex sins and to sinful desires. You got drunk and went to wild parties and to drinking parties and you worshiped false gods. 4 Those who do not know God are surprised you do not join them in the sinful things they do. They laugh at you and say bad things against you. 5 Remember, they will give an answer to Him Who judges all who are living or dead.

Of course, your former friends, coworkers and family members are surprised because you no longer plunder into the flood of wild and destructive things that you used to do and that they continue to do.  Therefore, they slander you.

Prior to coming into the knowledge of the truth (Gospel of Jesus Christ), we all followed the desire of the flesh, but once we have heard and accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and begin to walk after the things of the Spirit and not of the flesh, we are no longer condemned, according to God's Word that is found in Romans 8:1-So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus..

Too many people today are worried about what the people of their past think of them. Move on! God has delivered you, redeemed you, forgiven you, purchased you with His blood.

Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Scripture declares that you are no longer condemned in Romans 8:1.

Regardless of what they may say about you, regardless of how they scandalize your name, the lies they tell on you, the deceit in which they use to attempt to destroy your character and person, keep it moving!. Stay focus on God and His Word and God will allow His Word to strengthen you to a place where it will not even bother you anymore.

1 Peter 4:12 -Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

Regardless of what the world or society may want to deceive you into thinking, believing or doing, NOW IS THE TIME OF SALVATION! The world is given evidence after evidence everyday, but the people of the world is not heeding. WHY? Satan has deceived them into thinking that good works will be their key to heaven, but Jesus declared to Nicodemus in John 3:3- Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Romans 13:12-14 -Night is almost gone. Day is almost here. We must stop doing the sinful things that are done in the dark. We must put on all the things God gives us to fight with for the day. 13 We must act all the time as if it were day. Keep away from wild parties and do not be drunk. Keep yourself free from sex sins and bad actions. Do not fight or be jealous. 14 Let every part of you belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. Do not allow your weak thoughts to lead you into sinful actions.

Remember vs # 5 - Those who slander your name will be required to give an accuont to the one who  stands ready to judge those alive in Christ, and those dead in their sin.

Every man will give an account to what we have done in these bodies, be it good or evil! 2 Corinthians 5:10 - For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

God is gonna come like a thief in the night. Many will not be ready for they will be caught eating, drinking and being merry. Revelations 16:15 - Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.

Galatians 6:7 - Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

Galatians 6:8 - The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Once you have received the knowledge of the truth and think that you can continue on doing whatever you please, know this:you are WITHOUT EXCUSE WHEN YOU STAND BEFORE GOD!

MOVE PAST THE SLANDER! YOU ARE NO LONGER CONDEMNED!Live for Jesus for He is Alive!

NOW IS THE TIME OF SALVATION! GOD IS CALLING AND THE SIGNS ARE BLARING FROM A LIGHT THAT IS BRIGHTER THAN EVER BEFORE!

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you.

I love you all with the love of Christ!
