Ephesians 5:15-16 - Wise Or Foolish?

Ephesians 5:15-16-Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

These words written by Apostle Paul were written to Christians, through the direction of  God the Father,  are good advice for all of us.  These words are  medicine for our soul.

Paul reminds us on today that we  are the best reflectors to others of what a Christian should be. We are Christ Ambassadors here in the earth. The LIFE we live, the WORDS we speak and the SERVICE we render will reveal to others the kind of Christians we really are. It will also reveal who we represent.

Are you willing to reach forward and not look back to the sinful pleasures of this world on today? Are you willing? If not, what is the price you are willing to pay for your soul?

The Apostle Paul gave a resounding echo when he told Timothy, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." Repent and turn away from willful sin!

A  foolish man doesn’t care how he conducts himself, but a wise man does. Careful living is the effect of real wisdom.  Jesus,  in His Sermon on the Mount sets forth the pattern of Christian living for those of us who are citizens of His Kingdom. In Matthew 7:24-26 Jesus declares these words; "Whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them,  is like a wise man who built his house on a rock."  25-The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

Look around the world.  We can bring it home! Look at our schools, neighborhoods, homes, communities, families and on and on.

Time is the one thing that can’t be bought, can’t be saved, and there will never be more time, than what we have now.  The older we get, the closer we are getting to our death date. You nor I will ever be able to turn back the hands of time. You see, our days are allotted, God knows how many, and that’s all there are – and there is nothing that can change that fact. The question becomes, What are you gonna do with your short time here on earth? How will you live? Wise or foolish?

While there are many reasons why one should make the most of their time, perhaps the best reason, is because God commands us to do it.

Remember: Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise but as wise,  making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

The danger is that some of what has become normal to us is actually quite insane if you take a step back and look at things

Proverbs 9:9 - Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man, and he will learn more." Proverbs 12:15 - The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice.

Psalm 14:1a-The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.

Proverbs 15:5-Only a fool despises a parent’s discipline;whoever learns from correction is wise.

The path of the wise or the path of the foolish? Which road are you being driven on? One path leads to life everlasting and the other leads to eternal separation.

REMEMBER! Ephesians 5:15-16-Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

GOD BLESS AND DO TELL THE LORD THANK YOU!!!!

I love you all with the love of Christ!
