Galatians 6:7 -7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
What are you sowing? Whatever you are sowing, make sure it is sown in good ground and that you are using the right seed. In Scripture, seed is described as the Word of God according to Luke 8:11.
Who we are today and who we will be in the future is a result of the seeds we sow daily. It is a result of the words we say, the actions be take, the thoughts we think. We are exhorted in scripture to focus on the things that are good in the eyes of God. Let's listen in Philippians 4:8b- Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Remember, whatever you plan is what you reap. If you sow love and kindness, you reap love and kindness, if you sow hate and evil, you reap hate and evil, if you sow discord, you reap discord. Be very careful of the seeds you sow.
Whatever you plant is what you "WILL"reap. God's Word is true and it will not return to Him void.
Whatever thoughts you put into your mind, whatever seeds you allow to take root in your heart will sprout up through your actions. Scripture declares in Mark 7:15 - It's not what goes into your body that defiles you; you are defiled by what comes from your heart."
Remember this one thing. The harvest of your tomorrow and future depends on the seeds you sow today.
In every thought and every action, we are sowing seeds. We are producing something on the inside that will eventually manifest itself on the outside.
The seeds we sow needs to be watered by the Word of God. In doing so, we can guarantee a great harvest that is full of everlasting love, peace and joy, even in the midst of life's storms.
Regardless of where you stand on today. Sowing to the flesh or sowing to the spirit, here is the result of both. Galatians 6:8 - Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Where are you planting your seeds? Are you sowing them to the flesh or the spirit? There is no place between the two. All of us are either sowing to one or the other. Daily, the evidence of the ground in which we have sown are seeds are revealed. Jesus Himself declares these words in Matthew 7:16a You'll recognize them by their fruit. What kind of fruit are you bearing? What seeds have you sown?
Remember, whatever you plant, you will reap! Therefore, sow good seeds. Sow the Word of God.
God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for yet another way of escape through His Word.
