Genesis 18:14A - Is anything too hard for the LORD?
The Lord God appeared unto Abraham in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day. God made a promise to Abraham that within a certain time of the next year He will return to Abraham according to the time of life and that Sarah, Abraham's wife shall have a son.
When God gave this promise to Abraham, he and Sarah were old in age. Sarah was also beyond child bearing age, but God promised them a child.
Sarah having heard what God said to Abraham and she laughed. The Lord asked Abraham "why did Sarah laughed at what He had said". Of course, we know it was because of doubt based on her age and her body being beyond child bearing age and to top it off, her husband Abraham was too old and stricken in age, so she thought.
Having heard Sarah's laugh God asked Abraham "is there anything to hard for the Lord?
God repeats vs 10 in vs#14 by saying "at time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
If we would look at Abraham and Sarah's age along with their health, we too might say "there is no way"! That is impossible! But God!
Our God is the God of the impossible and He declares on today that "nothing" is too hard for Him.
Is anything too bard for the Lord? Ask that question to yourself. Say it aloud right now! Say it again and again until you get it in your Spirit man, then read the text out loud and boldly and confidently declare and decree that "NOTHING" is too hard for the Lord.
This is God's question to all who are dealing with situations that look impossible, situations that are telling you that you will never move beyond where you are, situations that are telling you that you are already defeated, situations that are telling you that God has forgotten and left you where you are.
What is troubling you? What is your struggle? What is your trial? What is happening in your life that seems too big for God to handle?
To that hopeless situation you may be dealing with-God has the power to fix it! Nothing is too hard for Him!
The question becomes, who's report are you going to believe? Your situation that looks too hard for God or God's Word? God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.
Apostle Paul says in Romans 4:21 - being fully persuaded that God has power to do what he had promised.
Do you believe that all things are possible with God? Our God changes not! He did it for Abraham and Sarah, He is still the same God and is able to do it for you and I. Whatever our "it" may be.
God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for He is indeed the God of the impossible!
I love you with the love of Christ.
