Isaiah 49:14-15 - Has Suffering Caused You To Feel Separated From God?

Isaiah 49:14-15 . 14 But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. 15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

The most fearful experience anyone can have is to feel separated from their parent. Be it a child from it's mother or father or a Christian from their heavenly Father.

God declares that even though a mother may forget her child, God will not and can not forget about us! Deuteronomy 31:6 - 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

These Words from God speak to God's people, His "ZION," His Church on earth, particularly for times like these.  God's people suffer not only from the distresses that touch all people, but also attacks from unbelievers.

Because of pain and suffering, we have a tendency to question God with these words; "Where are you in all this?, why so much pain? Have you forgotten me and my situation? Have you left your people out here to die at the hands of their enemies? These and so much more of these types of questions are asked when we feel separated from God in our suffering.

Whatever you are going through, it is for God's glory and for your good! Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

There is a process called "transformation  and sanctification" that God daily guides us through by all means of transportation, including suffering. The good news about it all is that He is there with us. He is taking us through. David said though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me. God is with us Saints!

"YET I WILL NOT FORGET YOU"  says the LORD. This is an everlasting promise.

Even when we forget what is good for us, even when we forget the love of God, even when we forget who we are in Christ Jesus, the LORD declares, "Yet I will not forget you. Vs #16-See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me."

God declares to you on today that "He will not and can not ever forsake you and I. That is a promise from God our Father in Heaven.

Chew on God's promise for your life today and TELL THE LORD THANK YOU! Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

I love you all with the love of Christ!
