John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
GOOD MORNING PEOPLE OF GOD!
This Christmas season is a time to prepare our hearts to receive "JESUS", Our Savior, Our Redeemer, Our Deliverer, Our God! He won't be coming on a sleigh nor pulled by reindeers with a shout of "ho, ho, ho, in the clouds! His arrival was through a virgin named "Mary" that was prophesied hundred of years prior to his arrival.
Christmas is the season of giving. The giving of our will to the will of God. A total surrender! It is the only way we can prepare to receive our gift name 'JESUS"!
As we go throughout our day for the next week or so, I want all of us to find a nativity scene to focus on for a moment. Ask yourself what Christmas might have been like without God's love for us through Jesus.
What is our life like now with or without Jesus? What message is Jesus sending to us as parents? Are we making preparation to receive Him? Are we preparing our children to receive Him?
As I look at the nativity scenes all around, I found myself wondering what Christmas might have been like through the eyes of JESUS' earthly parents, Mary and Joseph.
More important, What Message Does It Send to Us As Parents today?
What can we, as parents, learn and teach our children from the birth of our Lord Jesus through the eyes of Mary and Joseph?
What does our life show Christmas to be? Is it about preparing to receive our gift called "JESUS?
Are you Stressed out about buying gifts? Do you feel a need to compete with the Jone's down the street, in your family or at your work place? Is Christmas all about the temporary gifts that money can buy, which will one day be left behind here on earth or is Christmas about the eternal gift of life called "JESUS"?
Preparation to receive Christ must begin in our hearts now. It is time we do celebrate His birth, which is the true celebration of the season.
What do your children learn from you at Christmas as parents? Have they noticed that you have or that you are making preparation to receive the gift called "JESUS"?
Mary and Joseph had to prepare their hearts to receive their gift, 'JESUS"!
ARE YOU MAKING PREPARATION? JESUS CAME AS A BABY THE FIRST TIME AS SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. THIS TIME HE WILL COME AS "JUDGE".
ARE YOU PREPARING YOUR HEART TO RECEIVE YOUR GIFT FROM GOD THAT HE GAVE US OVER TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO CALLED "JESUS"?
If you are not preparing, now is the time to prepare our minds and receive!
Next week we will begin to prepare our hearts to receive "JESUS" through the story of how God used Jesus' earthly parents, Mary and Joseph.
GOD BLESS AND DO TELL THE LORD THANK YOU FOR THE MIND TO PREPARE AND RECEIVE THE TRUE GIFT THAT HE HAS GIVEN TO US ALL OUT OF LOVE. John 3:16
WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST, I DO LOVE YOU ALL.
