Matthew 25:32-33 - All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
In this text, Jesus metaphorically gives us a vivid picture of what will happen at the great separation when He returns.
One day, the time will come for the great separation that Jesus speaks about. The question to be answered is will we be ready? Whether we are ready or not, He is coming back again and this time as Judge. He came to earth the first time as Savior of the world.
Where will you stand at the separation? Where will we spend eternity? What does the future hold for us? Eternity with God or Eternal separation from God?
Jesus describes the Christians and the unbelievers in many different terms, metaphorically throughout the bible.
In Matthew chapter 13 Jesus metaphorically describes the believers as the wheat and the unbelievers as the tears. The enemy came in and threw the seeds of weeds among the wheat. Jesus said to leave the weeds there until harvest time and He will do the separation. Let the save and unsaved come grow up together, come to church together and God will do the separation.
Also in Matthew 25 Jesus metaphorically describes the Christians as Wise Virgins and the unbelievers as foolish virgins. The wise virgins brought their oil with them for their lamps. In other words, the wise virgin accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and prepared and waited for His return while the foolish virgins waited until the last minute to go buy oil and when they had left to do so, the bridegroom (Jesus) came; and they that were ready went in with Him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
The unsaved (the foolish virgins) missed the opportunity for salvation. They waited, thinking that they had time to prepare and accept Christ and was caught unsaved because the opportunity to do so was gone once Jesus shut the door.
Remember Noah, when he pleaded to the people to turn from evil and turn to God,they refused and when Noah and all his family, including a male and female animal of every kind had entered the ark, scripture declares that God shut the door. The opportunity for salvation was lost. Let's listen to verse # 16 n Genesis 7. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. God shut the door! Those who refused to believe God's message through Noah, drowned. They perished in their sins.
Where will you stand at the separation?
If you refuse to accept while you have time. While the blood is still running warm in your body, where will you stand at the separation? Among the sheeps or goats? Wheat or tears? The fools or the wise? Where will you stand when Christ do the separation?
In your spare time, please read Matthew chapter 25, Matthew chapter 13 and Genesis 7 in it's entirety.
The time to prepare to meet Christ is now! There is going to be a great separation! Please do not get caught with your work undone.
Where will you stand at the great separation? How will you stand? Who will you stand among? The sheeps or goats, the wheat or the tears, the wise of the foolish? Where will you be?
Today is the day of salvation! There is a clarion call from heaven to earth that is ringing louder than ever before. Have you heard the call? Have you answered? If not, why not? If not, where will you stand at the separation?
God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for giving you what you need in His Word (Bible) to help you make the right decision concerning the eternal destination of your soul.
I love you all with the love of Christ!
