Proverbs 3:5-6 - "When I Have Done All I Can Do, Let Me Lean On You Jesus"

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

When I have done all I can do, let me lean on you Jesus! Is this your cry on this morning?

Let me lean on Jesus! Is this the desire of your heart on this morning? If it is, God is offering us one of 2 options. Trust Him or our own understanding. God wants us to lean on Him and He is calling us to do that on today.  He is calling us to lean away from self  and lean towards Him. The question becomes, are you willing? Are you willing to die to self reliance and lean on Jesus this morning in every area of your life? If you are, His arms are wide open to you.

No matter what problem , circumstance, challenge or condition you may find yourself in this morning, God wants to help you and I.

To receive the help we so desperately need, we have to make the choice to not lean on our understanding, but trust and lean on God.

When I have done all I could do Jesus, let me lean on you!

To  "lean on Jesus" is to depend on Him and to rest upon Him. To lean on something or someone is to be supported by and or sustained by that thing or person. When you got in your car to drive to work, you believe it would get you there, when you sit in a chair, you believe it will hold you without you falling. All day long we are leaning on something. Jesus is calling us to lean on Him first! Matthew 6:33-but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things would be added unto you.

Do you need to lean on the Lord this morning? No matter what we go through in life, if we learn to lean and depend on JESUS, He will see us through. In Hebrews 13:5b- God makes us this promise: Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.

When we lean on Jesus, there is love, salvation, strength, peace, joy and blessings that overflow beyond measure.

I want to end with an old familiar hymn that my mother, grandmother and the saints of old in Royal Missionary Baptist Church used to sing when I was growing up.

Come on now, don't you act special, you all know that I am old school! Here you go saints!  :>)!! YOU SHOULD BE LAUGHING RIGHT HERE!

What  a  fellowship,  what  a   joy divine, O how sweet to  walk  in  this  pilgrim way, What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms; Leaning on the everlasting arms; Leaning on the everlasting arms? What a  blessedness,  what a   peace is mine, leaning on the everlasting arms. O how bright the path grows from day to day, leaning on the everlasting arms, I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, Leaning on the everlast-ing arms. Leaning on the everlast-ing arms. Leaning on the everlast-ing arms. Chorus:Leaning, leaning, Safe and secure from all a-larms; Leaning, leaning, Leaning on the everlast-ing arms.

This one is my favorite. This one is a couple of years old. A little up to date for you younger school folks and for me to because I love this song too.

Lord you know what each day will bring. For you designed my destiny
Each test and trial comes tailor made for me. Lord you know just how I feel, People see my smile but it's not real, I need your strength to make it through. (Let me lean on you)

CHORUS:
Let me lean on you I am to weak to stand. On my own Iam prone to fall again, All my tears are gone I can't cry no more, As I lay prostrate in the middle of the floor. Lord I call your name, I am not ashamed. At the end of my rope, You are my only hope. I have done all I can do Jesus, Let me lean on you.

Lord it's cold I can't get warm. Seems like I'm stuck inside a storm
But I know you promised you'd never, never, never leave me, (He won't leave you).

How can I stand without your hand? I want to be strong but I feel so all alone. Sometime it's so hard to pray to you. (Let me lean on you)

CHORUS:
Let me lean on you I'm to weak to stand. On my own I'm prone to fall again. All my tears are gone I can't cry no more. As I lay prostrate in the middle of the floor, Lord I call your name, I am not ashamed
At the end of my rope, You're my only hope. I have done all I can do Jesus, Let me lean on you .

GOD BLESS AND I LOVE YOU ALL WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST!

Do remember to tell the Lord thank you for giving you sense enough to know that there is none other to lean on but Him!
