Psalm 46:1 - Does Trouble Seems To Be All Around You?

Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength; an ever present help in trouble.

The psalmist reminds all of us on today that God is a very present help when we need Him the most. He knows exactly where we are for scripture declares that there is no place we can go from His presence.

Are you in trouble on today? Does trouble seems to be all around you? You are not alone! If the truth be told, trouble is throughout the land. If we could be honest for a moment, everyone is experiencing some kind of trouble in their life in one way or another.

None of us are immune from the troubles of life. Jesus himself declares that in this world we will have trouble, but be of good cheer for He has overcome the world. Job declares in 14:1 -man born of a women are of few days and full of trouble.

As we can see from scripture, we are promised trouble in this life. The good news is that we are also promised help and shelter in the these times of trouble. God is our refuge and strength!

When trouble comes where do you turn to for shelter? To whom do you go? Many seek temporary help in so many things of this world which is temporary. Believe it or not, our only true source of help is God. Everything else is just for a moment and then another fix is needed to medicate that same issue.

God is a safe place to hide in time for trouble for scripture declares that there is safety under His wings. Psalm 91:1 - He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High God shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

We are reminded in scripture where we should firs seek. Let's listen to  Matthew 6:33 -but seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things would be added unto you. When we seek God first everything that we need would be supplied, including help in the time of trouble.

Are you in need of peace that surpasses all understanding? Are you in need of joy unspeakable in your time of trouble? Seek God, for He declares to you on today that He is your very present help in time of trouble.

Whatever the nature of your trouble on today, don't give up in despair. Regardless of what you are facing, God is causing it to work for our good.

In our times of trouble, we must continue to use our weapon, which is the Word of God. God has given us power and authority to claim His Promised Word as our own.  Psalm 50:15 Call on me in your day of trouble and I will deliver you. You can only call on Him in whom you believe. Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Call on the Lord for He promises to hear and answer your prayers.

Our God is described as the "Most High God". Though He sits high, He looks low. He knows and sees all things. He is able to do all things for there is nothing too hard for Him. The question becomes "do you believe that" even in your time of trouble?

Because of God's promise to never leave nor forsake us, we can boldly declare  with confidence Hebrews 13:6- "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid."

We all know that there are times when our troubles are so great that we sometimes find ourselves overwhelmed, BUT GOD!  The Lord God, Our Father, reminds us of His promise of His everlasting presence and protection. Trust Him on today!

Isaiah 41:10: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

As you venture out about your day on today, remember that you have an assurance of God's presence with you on today. God says to every believer in Hebrews 13:5 - I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for being a very  present hlep in trouble.

I love you all.
