Are you in need of a hiding place? Are you in a season of stress and difficulties? Has unexpected trouble showed up in your life? Does trouble seems to be on every hand in your life?
Well, if you answered yes to these questions, God can help you, for His Word declares on today that He is a very present helper. A refuge, a shelter from the storm, rain, winds, fires and troubles of life.
If you need Him, call Him for scripture declares that He hears the cries of the righteous and He will help them.
When trouble comes, God is a safe place to hide. He will carry us through it and bring us out of it.
Oh, yes, trouble comes to the Christians too. We are not exempt. If you have not had the opportunity to meet trouble yet in this life, I say to you "KEEP LIVING"!
Trouble has a way of showing up how it want to, when it want to and to whom it wants to. Announced or unannounced, trouble will come.
Job 14:1- A man's life is but a few days full of trouble.
The Apostle Paul himself declares in 2 Timothy 312-yea and all that live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer.
The issue is not so much about us experiencing or going through trouble, nor what kind of trouble we are going through. The fact of the matter is that trouble will come, but God is with us.
When trouble is all around us we can run to God for His protection, guidance, comfort and peace. He is our strength when we are weak.
People of God, when trouble comes, we have a hiding place. His name is Jesus and He calls us to rest in Him on today.
Psalm 91:1-2 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.
When the troubles and storms of life comes raging, remember this: (1) God is your refuge-your hiding place, your shelter; (2) He is your strength because in trouble we can sometimes feel weak, and (3) He is a very present help. God is right there with us for He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. Call on Him Saints!!!
What do you do when trouble shows up from this day forward? Recognize that the "Sovereign God" of the universe, the Most High God in heaven is on your side.
Are you in trouble? God is right there with you. He was there for Daniel in the Lion den, he was there for the 3 Hebrew boys in fiery furnace and He is there with you and I too in our troubles.
There is a song that the saints of old used to sing titled "Where Could I Go But To The Lord". The chorus goes like this; Where could I go where could I go? Seeking a refuge for my soul. Needing a friend to help me in the end. Where could I go but to the Lord.
Our God is a Mighty Fortress. Indeed, He is a very present help in the time of trouble. Call Him for He promises to hear and answer your prayer.
