1 Timothy 2:1 I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.
People of God, I come now asking you all to pray for the State of South Carolina and all those that have suffered loss or damage in any kind of way. Some have lost family members, material possessions, joy, hope and even faith in the midst of the unexpected results of this storm that we have been facing for the last 3 days.
We are commanded in scripture to pray ye for one another.
We are to pray in general, but also for the salvation of those souls who are lost. Many who do not know God and are blaming Him for this calamity that they have been forced to deal with in these last few days.
Let us pray that God would touch their hearts and by faith that they would know without a doubt that God is a Sovereign and that He is a restorer of all things. Job is our proof. He lost everything in one day, including his 10 children, every live stock, servants and even his health. Yet He trusted God in the midst of it.
Let us pray that the people do not loose heart and give up in faith, but that this weather situation would draw them into a closer relationship with God, knowing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all they could ask or think according to the power that worketh in them.
As people of God, we should have a burden to pray more now than ever. People everywhere are hurting, confused and seeking answers. Pray that God would give us the right words to bring comfort and healing to painful, wounded, broken and hurting hearts and minds throughout our state and around the world.
Saints, let us pray and ask God to allow us as Christians to rise to the occasion with compassion and love in our services and witness of the goodness of God even in the midst of disaster to those that truly stand in need of our help at this time both mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
If you have made up your mind to be a prayer warrior on behalf of the people in South Carolina and around the world, do not loose heart or doubt just because you do not see results or evidence in the time you expect them. Trust God, His timing and His plan.
God can do mighty things in response to our prayers. Will you seek the Father today on behalf of your sisters and brothers?
God does hear and answer prayers. Psalm 34:17-The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
James 5:16b-The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.
South Carolina, America and Nations around the world, begin to pray to God the Father in Heaven for He promises to hear and answer our prayers.
God bless you all.
