Psalm 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness;come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.
The command today is to "give thanks" to the Lord. We do this by making a joyful noise unto Him and serving Him with gladness.
We thank Him for being God, for it it He who has made us and not we ourselves.
If you are saved, you are the "sheep" of His pasture.
The "sheep" is invited into His gates and it must be with thanksgiving that we enter with praise. We are to be thankful to Him and always bless His name for He is worthy of all the praise, glory and honor.
We thank the Lord for He is our Savior, our Redeemer and our Lord. He is a merciful and faithful God that extends His mercy and grace unto us and to all our generations.
Therefore, enter the Lord's gate with thanksgiving this day and everyday.
God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for allowing us an opportunity to be able to open our mouth and lift up our hands in thanksgiving and praise unto Him.
