Matthew 2:19-23 - But when Herod was dead, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.”
21 And he rose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus reigned in Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Nevertheless, being warned by God in a dream, he withdrew to the region of Galilee. 23 And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”
When your steps are ordered by the Lord, the route goes as plan.
God sent an angel to Joseph in a dream, telling him to arise and return to Israel with Mary and Jesus, for the one who seeks to kill "JESUS" is dead.
There is no plan like the plan of God. That is why it is very important that we are in tune to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Need to hear from God on today? Get connected to Him through His Son Jesus Christ, His Word called the "Bible" and prayer. I guarantee you that you too will hear God’s instruction and plans for your life.
Being obedient to the voice of the angel of the Lord, Joseph arose and took Jesus and Mary and returned to Israel.
Having arrived in Israel and hearing that Herod's ruthless son, Archelaus was now seated on his father's throne, Joseph became afraid because this could have meant the death of him, Mary and Jesus.
In another dream, being warned by God, Joseph withdrew to the region of Galilee and he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”
When obedience to the divine will of God for our lives is done in our lives, we always arrive safely at the destination that God had already planned out for us to arrive at.
Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to earth to save us from our sins. He will save us if we will put our faith and trust in Him and Him alone.
Will you trust Him on today to take away your sins? If you do, He promises you this in 1 John 1:9-If we confess oursins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Divine providence worked from start to finish in this divine plan for the life of the child Jesus because Joseph did not doubt nor hesitate, but obeyed the message given to Him by God through the angels of the Lord.
Where is God commanding us to go? What is He commanding us to do? Have we begun to obey His voice and "GO"?
God declares to you on today that He knows the plans He has for our lives. Plans to give us a hope and a future, plans to prosper us and not harm us.
Who's voice are you hearing and who's plan are you following?
Are you being lead by God's Holy Spirit? If not, who?
God bless and I love you all.
