Romans 8:38-39- For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In looking at all the chaos in the world today, men would easily say that a life of victory in Christ Jesus is impossible, but Apostle Paul begs to differ.
Paul says "YES", it is possible for us to live victorious in Christ Jesus because God is with us and if He is with us, nothing can be against us.
Paul reminds us that in the face of every possible adveristy, development, situation, circumstance, diagnosis or disaster, if God abide in us and we in Him, we already have the victory.
Victory for the believer was won at Calvary. All we have to do is open out mouth and claim it in every situation, regardless of what it looks like. We must learn to speak life over ourselves and our families.
Scripture declares in Proverbs 18:21-Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.
The question on today is "do you believe" that you are victorious in spite of your situation?
Regardless of what "sight" might say, the promises of God will never fail. Jesus declares in Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Who's report are you going to believe on today? The report of your situation or the report of God's Word? Which will you choose to live by?
Hebrews 10:38a declares that the "Just" shall live by faith. Those that are justified by faith through Christ Jesus.
Apostle Paul knew adversity at it's greatest. He was a man of faith that endured one circumstance after another that appeared to be unbearable and unthinkable at times, but yet he still declares to all of us on today in vs#38-39 -For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Paul's mind was made up about his relationship with Christ. His focus was not on his suffering, but his relationship with Christ. His attitude remained one of confidence as he resisted defeat.
Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9—that we are troubled on every side, yet not distress, we are preplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed.
Paul here speaks the hard reality of what life is like for a true soldier on the battlefield for the Lord.
No matter how much chaos Paul had to endure, he knew that God would work in his situation and he would come out with the victory. We too must believe the same!
Paul's mind was one of victory in spite of life's circumstances. This is the place where we all must daily strive to reach as believers.
Paul give us some advise on how to keep victory at the forefront of our minds in every circumstances in Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do:forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Paul knew that he had the victory in every circumstances through Christ Jesus, therefore, He was able to say that the past is the past and he is moving forward with God for there is a crown to be won and he was determined to win it.
What about you? Are you persuaded that nothing can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus?
Paul was strongly persuaded of who Christ was in his life. He fought the good fight of faith with confidence in knowing he had the victory.
Saints, are you persuaded on today? Do you have a fixed, immovable, unshaken conviction that God is with you in every step of your life?
Are you persuaded that God is fully aware of everything that takes place in your life?
Regardless of what the enemy of our minds may say on today, I believe what scripture says in Romans 8;28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,[a] for those who are called according to his purpose.
If we do not faint and give up on the battlefield, there is a crown of life that awaits us in Heaven. Oh, when I get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing it will be. When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory!
God bless and I love all of you victorious people of God.
