Matthew 13:36-43 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
In His parable of the sower of seeds, which the seed is the Word of God, Jesus describes the end results of what will happen at harvest time with that which was planted. Wheat had been planted by the farmer (God's Word) and unknowingly, the enemy crept in unaware and sowed tears (discord) among the wheat.
When the farm workers noticed the weeds had grown up with the wheat, they asked the Farmer(Christ) if they should pull up the wheat and he replied with these words in vs#28-29 “‘An enemy did this.“ The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”
When Jesus returns at His 2nd coming, the separation of the wheat and tear will happen. The saved and the unsaved will be separated. The sheep will be separated from the goats. The sheep on the right and the goats on the left.
Evil will be dealt with! The weeds of discord, friction, dissension and evil doing will be bundled up and thrown in the lake of fire to be burned forever.
Fret not yourself of the sowers of weeds in the farmers garden. Psalm 37:1-2 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Continue on in your work for the Lord. Stay focus, do not look to the left nor to the right, but keep looking ahead unto to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
Psalm 37:5-9 - Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
Regardless of the types of weeds that have been sown in your field, know without a doubt that God's Word declares on today that the weeds of evil will be burned in the fire.
Rest in the Word of God on today and do good. There is a crown of life that awaits you in eternity. You shall reap a harvest if you faint not.
Remember, vengeance is mine says the Lord.
God will indeed burn the weeds of evil in the fire. Therefore, fret not thyself!
God bless and I love you all.
