Matthew 28:20b I Will Never Leave You

Matthew 28:20- I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

In what is known as the "Great Commission" where Jesus declares after His resurrection that all power and authority is given unto Him in heaven and in earth, Jesus also gives His final instructions to His disciples to "Go" into all nations making disciples, baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus ends this command to "go" with a promise of His ever presence with them for He says "I will be with you always, even to the end of the age".

This is an not only a promise of God's ever presence with His people, it is one that He will always fulfill, regardless of where we may find ourselves in life.

In other words, Jesus is saying "don't worry, I got your back! I will be there with you."

The disciples and you and I can rest on this promise from Jesus today and forever because He declares that "all power and authority has been given unto Him in heaven and on earth". All power means all control in every area of life, regardless of what it looks like. God is Sovereign and in control of the universe.

Where is Jesus sending you? Where has He sent you? Is it in your community, your work place, your family, another land? Where is it that Jesus is commanding you to go make disciples? Wherever it is, He promises to go with you.

Jesus being our ever presence help gives us the opportunity for a closer relationship with Him daily.

I am with you always, even unto the end of the age. Oh what great words of courage and confidence that Jesus gives to us on today.

If you abide in Christ and Christ abide in you, here is another one of God's promise to you on today. Let's listen to Joshua 1:5 -No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

God promises never to leave me nor forsake me. Close your eyes and say that to yourself a few times saints until you begin to feel God's presence with you. Oh, what a indescribable feeling!

Saints, rest in the promise of God on today in knowing that He will be with you always, even unto the end of the age. There is never a time when He is not present with us.

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for being a very present help.

I love you all.
