2 Corinthians 4:1-2-Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not. 2. But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the Word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Walk what you talk! In other words, let the words you speak align with the life you live.
In spite of life's troubles, difficulties, unbelief and struggle, we don't give up and quit, but we daily trust God in all His mercies to help us live and proclaim this Gospel message He has given us because of His grace and mercy towards us.
As people of God, our responsibility is to Him. We are accountable to the task in which He has given us. We are to be good stewards over that which God has assigned to our hands in teaching the truth of His Word to the lost of this world.
To effectively deliver the message of the Gospel that God has given us as believers to deliver, we must first be partaker of it before delivering it to others. We must live a life of integrity that shows forth the message we dare to proclaim.
Too many today are proclaiming the Gospel and are hindering others from believing it because of what so many unbelievers are seeing in their living. The words they speak and the life they live are not lining up together.
Having been given a new way to live by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, we have been given a new way to live our lives. Because of this new way, we are now commanded to reject shameful deeds and deceitful ways of doing things.
Deception, which is from satan, the father of lies, is no longer our rule of the day, therefore, we do not distort the Word of God, but boldly proclaim it's truth as to what it says.
A life of honesty and integrity is the life of the new way that has been given through Christ. Let's begin to daily practice living it saints!
We must speak and and live with the knowledge that God is watching and listening to us. He sees and knows all things, including those things that we have deceived ourselves into believing are hidden.
Hebrews 4:13 - Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we all must given an account.
This new way of life given to us by God's mercy should cause us to speak so that others trust the truth of what we say concerning the Gospel message.
Romans 10:17 declares that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Knowing that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, it is imperative that we speak God's truth.
Walk what you talk! Philippians 4:13-3 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
God bless and I love you all.
