Isaiah 55:10-11 -As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
God's inerrant Word is a living Word that God has sent down from heaven to earth. All scripture is given by inspiration of God. The Prophets of old wrote them as they were inspired by God.
God's Word is described in Hebrews 4:12-13 -For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
The Word of God! There is none like it in the world. It is alive and continually active throughout the universe.
It is the Word of God that spoke the world into existence. It is the Word of God that has the power to transform lives, it is the Word of God that causes the dead to be raised, it is the Word of God that brings about healing, it is the Word of God that has the power to set us free from sin, for scripture declares that the Word of God is the power unto salvation.
Just as the rain and snow fulfills it's purpose in the earth by watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is the Word of God.
If the dry, cracked, dusty earth needs the rain and snow to transform the ground to a place where seed is planted and harvest is produced, the same applies to us as humans.
As humans, prior to salvation, prior to hearing the Word of God, we are harden in our hearts, cracked, broken, dusty and fruitless.
It is only through the power of God's Word that we are able to be transform.ed. We need the Word of God to transform us, but of course, not without our hearing and obedience to it can this transformation happen.
When God's word transforms us we are transformed from a hard, cracked, broken, dusty, fruitless field to a bud filled, leafy green garden in full blossom.
The ultimate purpose of the rain and snow is seed to the sower and bread to the eater. In other words, it is sent o be a blessing to others.
The Word of God is alive and must be obeyed. If not, a harvest will not be produced in our lives. If we reject the Word of God, we will remain hard, cracked and dusty, which we will be of no benefit to anyone, including ourselves.
Just as the snow and water fulfills it's purpose in the earth, so shall the Word of God spoken from the mouth of God.
God spoken Word declares on today that it (1) shall not return to Him void, (2) it shall accomplish in what He sent it to do, (3) It shall prosper.
The Word of God is being sent forth around the world to reveal God to mankind, to bring us to a place of faith and trust in Him, to free us from the power of sin and death through Jesus' shed blood and to bring us to a place of eternal peace and rest with Him.
Revelation of God's living word can not be revealed, known or experience without first hearing, believing and obeying it.
I urge everyone of us on today to hear, believe, receive and obey the living Word of God for it is true because God says it is.
Whatever God speaks, happens. Whatever He says goes. He is the Sovereign God. He declares that "I am the Lord they God and I changes not".
Isaiah 43:11- I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior.
Isaiah 45:22- "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.
The Word of God is living bread for our soul. Apart from it, we remain spiritually dead and separated from God now and throughout eternity.
Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
The Word of God must be obeyed. God said it and we must do it!
God bless and I love you all.
