Matthew 9:27-30- Do You "Believe" That Jesus Is Able To Do This For You?

Matthew 9:27-30 -As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” 28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them,“Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. 29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored.

After having healed a women with an issue of blood who had suffered 12 long year and after having raised the daughter of a synagogue leader (Jairus) from the dead, Jesus is followed by 2 blind men who cried out these words to Him "have mercy on us, Son Of David"!

Having entered into a house where the blind men followed Him into, Jesus asked them "do you believe that I am able to do this”?

That is the question we all must answer in order to receive the miracle we are in desperate of.

This question is to be answered by those of us who are not seeking self help, but help from Jesus in situations in our lives that are beyond our control.

Our need for a miracle could be in many areas of our lives, therefore, I will name a few. It could be sickness, finances, wayward children,  a lack of faith and trust, an unsaved spouse, unsaved family members, employment decision, healing in your body, healing of the mind, a career decision, future decision concerning you marriage, your position on the job, pondering investment into a home or car, investment in the market, a spiritual decision concerning God's leading in your life, etc.

Whatever the case may be that you are currently dealing with, God has the answer.

The question becomes, "do you have the faith to believe that He is able to do whatever needs to be done in your life"? Do you and I have the faith to believe that?

What are we to believe? We are to believe that whatever our need is on today, Jesus is able to bless and heal beyond our expectations. Ephesians 3:20-Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

These 2 men having been asked by Jesus "do you believe that I am able to do this for you" answered with a resounding "Yes Lord"!

The faith of these men were seen before they made their request to Jesus.

When these 2 blind men first met Jesus, they acknowledged Him as "the Son Of David" and after receiving their  miracle, they now acknowledge Him as "Lord". Good God Almighty! Flesh and blood did not reveal that to them. It was the Holy Spirit.

Not only did these 2 acknowledge and reverence who Jesus was, they believed He was who He proclaimed to be (Messiah) and they had the faith to believe that He was able to heal them.

What followed the faith filled reply of these 2 blind men was a miracle. Their blinded eyes were open and their sight was restored.

What is it in your life and my life that is begging us with desperation to seek Jesus help on today? What is it?

If you could only believe, Jesus declares unto to you on today as He did to those 2 blind men that day "according to our faith, be it unto you"!

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He changes not. If He was able able to work a miracle back then, He is able to do it now for He is the same God who declares Himself that He changes not!

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Do you believe? Jesus declares that all things are possible to them that believe.

Need help on today? In need of a refuge for your soul? In need of a friend who will save you in the end? Jesus is it! Do you believe that?

Do you believe that Jesus is able to do this for you? If you could only believe, your miracle too is only a step of  "Faith" away.

God bless and I love you all.
