Acts 3:1-10 - One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.
2 Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Are you in need of any type of healing? Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc?
The Word of God has the power to heal in whatever area you stand in need of being healed. The question to be answered is "do you believe that"? If you do, be it unto you according to your faith.
The lame man was looking for money, but he found healing because he believed that it was possible. He proved it by faith when Peter took him by the right hand and said "in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk". By faith, the man arose and immediately he gained strength in his ankles and began to walk.
What are you willing to believe and act upon on today in order for you to receive what you so desperately need from God on today?
It is only by faith in God that God's power to heal is made available. Scripture declares in Hebrews 11:6-Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
There is power to heal in God's Word by faith.
What desperate measures are you willing to take and act upon on today in order for you to receive what you need from God on today?
The lame man showed up at the house of God (Temple) expecting a miracle. He did get it, but it was not the one he was looking for but the one he needed.
We think we know what we want, but God knows what we need.
This man was a beggar and after being healed, he was able to walk. He is now able to not only look for work, but work also.
The money he was begging for would be short lived. It was not going to last, possibly until the next day and he would end up there again. But what Peter and John did by giving Him the Word of God, and his receiving it by faith in his action, he was now able to go from temporary help to permanent help because he had the ability to walk and now work for what he needed in order to survive.
What desperate measure are you willing to take to receive your healing? The lame man showed up at the house of God (Temple) seeking help for he knew what he needed was there.
Do you believe that whatever your need is God has the answer to it and for it and that He is willing to give it to you if you would only seek Him for it? I can help you answer this question with a resounding "YES"!
