Titus 2:11-14- For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind.
12 It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world,
13 Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One), 14 Who gave Himself on our behalf that He might redeem us (purchase our freedom) from all iniquity and purify for Himself a people [to be peculiarly His own, people who are] eager and enthusiastic about [living a life that is good and filled with] beneficial deeds.
Grace=unmerited or undeserving favor of God to those who are under condemnation. You and I.
It is the Lord's will that none should perish!
God has revealed Himself to us. John 1:14-So the Word became human[a] and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.[b] And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
God's love, grace, mercy and kindness is not only for a select few, scripture declares that it is for "all". We can either receive God’s salvation or we can reject it by choice. The fact still remains that God, by grace through faith has brought salvation to all mankind.
None of can say "we do not know or we did not know" the way to salvation. God not only showed us, but He proved it through death. John 3;16- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
By grace through faith, God has given us the opportunity to experience His love, mercy and kindness like never before. He offers us who were once His enemies an opportunity to now be called His “friend
How do we receive this love, grace and kindness that God offers to all of mankind on today? By faith! Romans 10:17-So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
To receive what God has for us must be done by hearing, believing and obeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ for there is no other Gospel, no other name given in heaven or earth by which man can be save. Jesus is it!! John 14:6-Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Whoever you are, wherever you may be geographically, whatever you have been lead to believe as your way to salvation, there is only one way and Jesus is it. God has revealed Him to all!
God’s grace is His unmerited favor. Grace means that God has given what we are undeserving of. He has given us love, grace, mercy and kindness which none of us deserved nor could earn. We deserved wrath and judgment.
The bible declares that there will be a 2nd coming. Christ will return to receive those that belongs to Him. John 14:1-2 -In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Are you preparing for Christ return? Will you be ready? What will you hear Him say to you when you stand before Him and give an account of your life? Will it be "well done thy good and faithful servant" or will it be "depart from me for I know you not"? What will you and I hear?
Hebrews 9:27-And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
The grace of God and the love of God towards His creation brought salvation to all mankind. This love, grace and kindness has appeared in the person of Jesus Christ. Have you accepted Him as the atonement for your sins?
Guess what? We all have a choice to make for none of us will be able to stand before God with an excuse that will work on our behalf.
Reality check or scare tactic? Call it what you may, but one thing for sure, God has spoken and His Word is true. Every Word He spoke and still speaks today will come to pass.
God bless you.
