Romans 8:1-There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Condemnation= The act of condemning or pronouncing to be wrong; censure; blame; disapprobation.2. (n.) The act of judicially condemning, or adjudging guilty, unfit for use, or forfeited; the act of dooming to punishment or forfeiture.
Without Christ, we all stand condemn in our sins, but God's Word declares on today that if you are no longer walking after the sins of the flesh, but after the spirit of God, you are no longer condemn.
Many people are still being held mentally captive by the guilt of their past life of sin because they refuse to believe that they have truly been forgiven by God.
The enemy of our mind, satan's destructive thoughts, still holds them captive after salvation through condemnation because they may have done some wrong things after salvation. We will make many! Hopefully, not intentionally! Repent, get up and keep it moving with God!
After salvation, there is a process called 'Santificaiton". The daily process of being sanctified, growing spiritually into the likeness of Christ. It is a process until death!
The point I want to make is that you have to decide who's report you are going to believe. The truth of God's Word or the lies of satan? You do have a choice!
The Apostle Paul ask the question in Romans 8;35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
Paul resoundingly answers his own question in vs#37- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus.
When you believe in Christ and put your faith in Him, God the Father sees us in Christ Jesus. He sees the "blood" of Christ, not our sins. All that Jesus is, we are in Him through a personal relationship with Him.
The Spirit of Christ who lives in us has set us free from the law of sin and death. We are no longer condemn!
Prior to salvation, we were sentenced to death through Adam, but after salvation, we enter into life everlasting through Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:21-God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
Ephesians 1:4-6Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. 5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. 6 So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.
If you declares Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in your life, here is what scripture says concerning you in 2 Corinthians 5:17-anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
When condemnation shows up knocking at the door of your mind, here is what scripture declares that you must do in 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
In other words, every thought that the enemy brings to you that is contrary to what God's Word says concerning you must be cast down. You must rebuke, reject, dismiss and refuse to believe every lie of satan. Those thoughts must be cast down from the throne of your mind.
We are told in Philippians 2:5-Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. What is the mind of Christ? The Word of God! God and His Word is one.
The question to be answered today by all of us is whose report are we going to believe? The answer to this question will help us determine if we will live the rest of our life in condemnation or live it free in the Spirit of God according to the word of God with the peace of God and peace with God.
Is condemnation working overtime in your mind? CAST IT DOWN RIGHT NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
God bless you all on today.
