In whom, what or where have you placed your trust? Who is it or what is it that you have convinced yourself that you can truly trust other than God? Who is it?
Where are you seeking wisdom and guidance for life and living from? Who are you trusting and what path are you following in life?
Scripture declares that there is only 2 paths to take in this life. We have the choice of which one we will follow.
Let’s listen to Matthew 7:13-14-Enter at the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who are going through it, 14 because small is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
We are reminded in Psalm 146:3 -Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.

In this text, Solomon, one who is described as the wisest man ever lived, other than Christ brings us to the awareness that if we obey the conditions laid out in God's Word, there is a promised blessing to follow.
We are first called to (1) trust in the Lord, (2) lean not unto our own understanding because scripture declares that there is a way that seems right unto man but the end thereof is death. (3) we are to acknowledge God in everything that we do. He is the only who knows His will for our lives and what is best for us.
When we trust God, our faith is being worked out.
When we have trusted, lean upon and acknowledge God for who He is, the Sovereign God, Maker and Creator of heaven and earth, the Faithful God, the Triune God, the Living God, the Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Counselor, Mighty God then we know without a doubt that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think according to HIS power that worketh in us.
God makes a promise to you and I on today of "divine guidance" and fellowship with Him if we put Him first. He promises that if we trust and lean on Him and not ourselves or anyone else, He will direct our paths.
Jesus says in John 10:27-My sheep listen to my voice, I know them, and they follow me.
What will we as people of God do in our lives to inwardly and publicly acknowledge God and His Lordship over our lives?
The call to Christians today is to have the sort of trust and faith that makes us get up each and every day with the intent, effort and obedience of putting our lives into the hand of God, regardless of our circumstances or conditions.
As we trust, lean and acknowledge God, we must be willing to go where God is taking us.
God has given us a powerful promise of guiding our every step of the way through His clear path on this journey called life if we would put our trust in Him.
Lost and trying to find your way on today? Trust God, for He promises that He alone is willing and able to direct your paths if you would only put your trust in Him and Him alone.
My confession on today is "my trust and hope is in the Lord my God" for He alone promises to direct all my paths if I am willing to put my faith in Him and Him alone.
God bless you.
