1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.
Care=merima in the greek. Worry, burden or anxiety about things pertaining to this earthly life.
Cares! We all have them. Life happens to all of us! Trouble comes to all of us.
Feeling overwhelmed from life's storms? Is your heart aching? Are you burdened down, discouraged, in distress, anxious, fearful, miserable, worried, confused, feeling abandoned or forgotten, scared or restless in mind?
Whatever your emotional state may be on today, it did not catch God by surprise. God knows everything before they even happen. God is Omniscience. He is the God who knows all things, including your emotions that seems to be running high in every direction right now.
The good news on today is that you are not alone in the midst of whatever you may be going through.
Believe it or not, but God cares and is concerned about what you go through in this life.
The good news is that in the midst of life's uncertainties God is sending forth a personal promise to you and I on today in Hebrews 13:5 where He declares that He will never leave us nor forsake us, but that He will be with us always, even unto the end.
God is a promise keeper and He will do just what He says He will do. Numbers 23:19-God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
The invitation from God to you and I on today is to "cast ALL our cares upon Him for He care for you us." Yes, every little detail of our life is of concern to God. Nothing is too hard for Him. No problem is too big for God to handle, therefore He invites us to cast them upon Him.
Whatever concerns you concerns God. Whatever gets our attention gets God's attention.
When we cast our cares on God, He exchanges all our worries and fear for His peace and rest.
“Cast all your anxiety on God!” WHY? Because He cares for you.
The Psalmist tells us in Psalm 139 that God fashioned and formed us, that He knew us when we were still in our mother’s womb.
Because God knew us even before we were formed, He knows what worries and hurts us and He is able to set us free from all of them when we by faith, cast them upon Him.
When we look to God as the true source of our strength, hope and provision, we will let go of trying to fix what is wrong in our lives and cast them on Him.
Matthew 6:30-34- take no thought, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 (For the Gentiles seek after all these things.) For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you.34 Therefore, take no thought about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take thought about the things of itself. Sufficient to the day is the trouble thereof.
Cast your worries on God! Pour out your heart to Him in prayer on today. Cry if you have to cry, scream if you have to scream, but get it out of your system and cast it on God.
Since God cares for you, let him carry all your burdens and worries. He loves you and his heart is full with compassion for you. Run to Him on today for He is indeed a “burden bearer.”
God cares for and is concerned about you on today my brothers and sisters
My prayer today is that you would trust God and allow Him to be God in your life.
CAST YOUR CARES ON HIM! He bids you to come and bring them to Him on today.
