Psalm 61:2-From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Has life's circumstances left you feeling overwhelmed, discouraged or defeated? Cry unto God for He promises to hear and answer your prayers.
David wrote this Psalm when he was on the run from his own son, Absalom who rebelled against David in his attempt to overthrown his kingship.
David felt helpless and unable to do anything about the situation while he was on the run. His heart was overwhelmed and he did not feel brave enough to fight with his own son, so he asked God for help, knowing that God was his “Rock” . Psalm 51:17 A broken spirit is my sacrifice, God. You won't despise a heart, God, that is broken and crushed.
Whatever it is that you may be going through on today people of God, remember that "PRAYER" is always available in every place, every circumstance and every condition of our heart. The Psalmist says "from the end of the earth will I cry unto you".
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
God is saying to you on today that you no longer have to carry your load for He is willing to carry it for you. Seek Him in prayer.
God bless.
