Psalm 139:18 O Lord, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know when I sit down and when I get up;You understand my thought from far off. 3 You search my path and my lying down and are aware of all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it fully.
5 You put Yourself behind and before me, and keep Your hand on me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is lofty, and I cannot fathom it.
7 Where shall I go from Your spirit, or where shall I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell at the end of the sea, 10 even there Your hand shall guide me, and Your right hand shall take hold of me.11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,and the light shall be as night about me,”12 even the darkness is not dark to You, but the night shines as the day, for the darkness is like light to You.
13 You brought my inner parts into being; You wove me in my mother’s womb.14 I will praise you, for You made me with fear and wonder; marvelous are Your works, and You know me completely. 15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, and intricately put together in the lowest parts of the earth.16 Your eyes saw me unformed, yet in Your book all my days were written, before any of them came into being.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You.
The Psalmist begins and ends this text by acknowledging the truth about God and His knowledge of man.
Ever wondered or doubted if God knew where you were and what you were experiencing in life, be it good or bad?
Today, scripture provides us with proof of God's Omniscience power. The God of infinite knowledge.
Our God is also Omnipotence. He is the all-powerful God who has created all things and sustains them by HIS Word.
Our God is the Omnipresence God who has the ability to be everywhere at all times.
We all can rest assured on today that regardless of where we may find ourselves in life, what we may be going through, what our life conditions may be or even what we think or feel, God knows all about it.
Nothing about us is hidden from God for He knows all about us. He knows our going out, our lying down, our getting up, our coming in and He is familiar with all our ways. Nothing is hidden form Him concerning you and I.
Yes, God knows our name, our street address, our families, our employer, our children, our thoughts, the strands of hair on our heads, He knows our birth and death dates, He knows our children and our children children from one generation to the next, He knows how we feel about every issue in our lives, He knows our tears and pains, He knows our attitudes, our flaws, He knows the thoughts before we think them, He knows all our questions and He has all the answers, He knows the places we go before our feet ever move, the ideas we have before we put them into action, He knows our physical appearance, He knows what we are doing right now, what we have done in the past, what we are going to do today, our thoughts right now, later today, tomorrow and in the future.
Because God is all knowing, it would only make sense to seek Him for whatever our needs are. He is our Creator and He knows what we stand in need of before we even ask Him.
Have you ever wondered why God would even consider us when we think about how we all daily disobey and rebel against Him?
God considers us out of His love for us and He proved it at Calvary.
Romans 5:8-But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God knows all about you and I! Nothing about us is hidden from Him. Isn’t that wonderful to know?
God knowing everything about us does not negate the fact that He commands us to seek Him. He wants to hear from His creation.
Yes, God knows us better than ourselves. God told Jeremiah “I knew you before I formed you in the womb and it is I who ordained you a Prophet to the nations.”
Therefore, we can rest assure today and everyday form this day forward in knowing that our God is all Knowing and ever presence with us.
Guess what? We matter to God, therefore He knows what is best for us.
We can rejoice on today in knowing that God knows all about us. Nothing happens to us, in us or through us, against us or for us without God's firsthand knowledge of it.
Jeremiah 29:11-1 For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
God bless and do tell the Lord thank you that regardless of what our life may look like right now, God knows all about it and indeed has a great plan in store for us in eternity with Him.
