Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. 6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
The call from God to Christians everywhere is to get our faith to a place where we are able to trust God enough to put our entire lives into His hands.
To put not our trust in man, but in God for He alone is the one who can save us.
The world wants self-dependence and self-reliance, yet Jesus wants self-denial. The world wants us to trust ourselves and to "lean on our own understanding." Jesus wants us to trust Him and lean not on our own understanding, but rather His.
We are not to lean on our own understanding because our own understanding is corrupt, selfish and self-centered.
When we trust God and lean on His understanding, when we include Him in all our planning, our thinking and all our decision making, be it small or great, then and only then are we acknowledging Him.
When we have learned to trust, lean and acknowledge God in all our ways, then will He make our path straight.
God's path is not the path we would naturally take for ourselves because God's idea of a straight path is not necessarily our idea of a straight path.
Therefore, trusting God to direct out path with all our heart is being able and willing to go wherever God take us. We can not see what's ahead or down the road, but God can.
Whatever it is that you are dealing with on today, the call is to "TRUST GOD, LEAN NOT UNTO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL DIRECT OUR PATH".
There is no straight path apart from God's leading.
God's path is the only one that leads to green pastures and peaceful shores. A place of shelter in the time of life's storms.
When God tells us to trust Him, lean not unto our own understanding, acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths, He is providing us with the solution to dealing with life's hard and touch situations.
The solution is casting our cares upon Him for He cares for us.
God knows us better than ourselves. He alone knows what we stand in need of and He alone can supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
When your faith is small, trust God, when you are feeling weak in spirit trust Him, when life seems the hardest, trust Him, when trouble and confusion appears to be all around, trust Him for He promise to lead us to His expected end for our lives.
Jeremiah 29:13-You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Will you trust God on today with your whole heart? He alone has the answer to all of our needs.
Seek Him out on today for He promise that when you seek Him, you will find Him.
Step aside and let God be God in our lives.
God bless you all.
