Psalm 55:22-Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you;
He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
The call today is to stop the blame game and cast you cares, your worries, your burdens, your anxieties, your fears upon the Lord for in doing so He will sustain you.
It is only in the releasing of our cares to the Lord where we can truly find true peace and rest, even in the midst of uncertainty and unbearable circumstances.
God does not want us to worry for worry adds nothing to our life. If anything, it takes away our peace and joy.
The saints of old used to sing a song titled "take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there".
People of God, cast your cares on God. The reason being is that God cares for us and this is His will and desire for us.
Are you feeling stressed to the point of saying you can not take it anymore? Is your heart heavy and burdened and you can't see your way through? Give it to Jesus! Cast it on Him for He is willing to carry your load and He is able to keep you through the process.
Does the burden of sin have you weigh down? Call upon the Lord for He promises to hear your cry.
Cast your cares on God and rest in His promises on today for the songster says "There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus: No, not one! no, not one!
None else could heal all our souls’ diseases. No, not one! no, not one! Jesus knows all about our struggles;He will guide ’til the day is done:
There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus: No, not one! no, not one! No friend like Him is so high and holy, No, not one! no, not one! And yet no friend is so meek and lowly,
No, not one! no, not one.
There’s not an hour that He is not near us, No, not one! no, not one!
No night so dark, but His love can cheer us, No, not one! no, not one! Did ever saint find this Friend forsake him? No, not one! no, not one!
At the end of your rope? Take your burdens to the Lord in prayer and leave them there.
Jesus has come to us that we might come to Him. Matthew 11:28-Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Burdens weighing you down today? There is another old familiar song that says: "Leave it there, leave it there; Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.
If you’ll trust and never doubt, He will surely bring you out; take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.”
