Psalm 145:18- The Lord is near to all those who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.
Have you been wondering lately where is God in your life? Why does He appear to be silent?
I believe the question to be asked is not "where is God or why does He appear to be silent", but the true question is "have you been seeking Him, have you been calling upon His Holy and Righteous name?" Have you been drawing near to God in prayer and study of His Word?
Scripture declares that the Lord is near to those who (1) call upon Him and (2) those who call upon Him in truth. Are you calling upon the Lord and doing it in truth with a pure heart?
When we call on the Lord with in spirit and in truth with a clean heart, the Lord our God shows us compassion and His unending favor. He hears our cries and He answers our prayers.
When we call upon the Lord in truth, we can run to Him with confidence in knowing that we will find Him to be our refuge and strength; our very present help in the time of trouble.
People of God, our Father, the Lord our God is near. Have you called on Him lately in spirit and in truth?
Isaiah 55:6-7Seek the Lord while He may be found, call you upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
What is causing you not to seek the Lord on today in truth? Is there fear because of sin in your life that is causing you to seek self and everything else and not God? What is it that is hindering you from drawing near to God? What is it?
The invitation on today is to "SEEK" the Lord and draw night unto Him in truth. Will you do it? Will you call upon His name in truth? If you do, He promises to hear and answer your prayers.
Hebrews 7:25-Therefore, He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, because He at all times lives to make intercession for them.
Are you honoring God on today? How are you doing it? With our lips or from a pure heart?
God speaks about those who honor Him with their lips in Matthew 15:8 "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
If we refuse to draw near to God, we'll reap the consequences of not listening to Him and end up spending now and eternity apart from Him, which will be our own fault because God is offering hope to you on today by calling you to drawnear to Him.
Where do you stand on today concerning your relationship with God? Is it your daily prayer to draw night unto the Lord our God? If not, why? God is the only one who can save you.
Acts 4:12- There is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
The plea on today is to draw nigh to God for He is near to those that call upon Him, them that do it in spirit and in truth.
God is near!! Have you called Him in truth on today?
I urge, beg and plea with you on today to draw near to God for I know without a doubt that you will find whatever it is that you stand in need of on today.
As my Pastor, Rev. Isaac J. Holt, Jr. says about God "HIM ABLE"!
Trust Him today.
