Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
The dictionary defines a heart break as crushing, grief, anguish or distress.
Broken hearts usually describes someone who has suffered a failed relationship or some type of painful experience from a situation or circumstance that took place in their lives that caused them to feel a sense of loss of something or someone.
When a child falls down off a bike or hurt themselves in some type of sports or accident that causes a wound or bruise, the first thing the mother or father would do is comfort the child by saying "it is going to be ok" and we immediately begin to take the child into our arms, take them into the house (place of safety) and begin to clean the wounded area off and place some type of ointment on it to help sooth the pain and hopefully heal the wound over time.
What our parents does for us in a (tangible), natural way, our Heavenly Father does the same in a different way called the supernatural. We are His children, He loves and will take care of us because we belong to Him.
When we have been wounded, battered, rejected, neglected, abused and shattered by the sins of the this world, The Lord our God opens wide His arms, invites us to enter into a personal relationship with Him through Christ Jesus and then He begins to heal our broken hearts with His Love and binds up our wounds with His ointment called "GRACE AND MERCY" that is guaranteed to heal our broken hearts and bind up the wounds and pains of all our past hurtful and broken relationships that we had while we were separated from Him by sin.
If you have been wounded and suffers from a broken heart, why not allow the Lord your God to heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds. He is willing to do just that for you on today.
As the people of God, we can recover from a "broken heart" because we have access to the Holy Spirit of God who alone can “heal the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds".
King David is an example for us on today of one who experienced one broken heart after another and recovered from them all stronger than he was before. Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
People of God, we are reminded of this in Psalm 34:19-Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
God does not promise that we won't fall down and get hurt, but He does promise that when we do, He can heal us.
Brokenhearted and overwhelmed with pain? Run to Jesus, for He alone has the ointment needed to rub on your wounded heart. Jesus' ointment is guaranteed to bring about your much needed healing.
God is making this declaration to His people on today "I am the Lord your God and I alone can heal you from a broken heart and bind up your wounds". The questions is "will you let HIm"?
Jesus personally came from heaven to earth just to heal our broken hearts and bind up our wounds. Trust HIm on today to do just that for you.
