Luke 1:37 For with God nothing will be impossible.
This passage of scripture is a part of the text that gives us the story of the visitation of Mary by the Angel Gabriel who foretold her of the birth of God's Son Jesus by her through a virgin birth.
Being a young virgin and never having been with a man, this situation was impossible for Mary to comprehend for she said to the Angel in vs#34- “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” In other words, how could this be? It was not that Mary was doubting, but she was questioning how is this impossible situation gonna become possible?
After having been informed by the angel Gabriel how this impossible miracle would happen by the Holy Spirit who will come upon her and overshadowing her, Mary believed by faith and spoke these powerful words in response to Gabriel's message.
Let's listen to vs# 38- Mary said, “I am the servant of the Lord. May it be unto me according to your word.
How do we go on when the possible looks impossible? How do we convince ourselves that our impossible situation is possible? We do it by faith in believing that with God all things are possible.
Hebrews 11:6-And without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Jesus declares to the rich young ruler in Luke 18:27-“What is impossible with men is possible with God.”
Is life's circumstances looking impossible to you? Does it appear that you have no way out of your situation? If you could only trust and believe that with God all things are possible, you could see a MIRACLE take place in your life, even on today.
In need of a miracle today in your impossible situation? Make a commitment to believe God by faith regardless of what you may see with your natural eyes and watch God. Will he answer today, tonight or tomorrow? May be or may be not, but He will answer if you could only believe.
Our God, the God of the seen and unseen is able to perform the impossible in our lives. He is God and He alone is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think according to our faith.
The cal today is to trust God by faith in believing that in your impossible situation you serve a God who can make the impossible in your life possible.
If we look through the rear view mirror of our lives, we too can see where the "IMPOSSIBLE" met God and our impossibles were turned into "POSSIBLES" with God.
Scripture declares that our God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Psalm 30:8- I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication.
People of God, remember "there are no impossibles" with the Lord our God for where there is faith and trust in the Lord our God, there is deliverance!
Facing the impossible? God can and will fix it!
