2 Corinthians 5:7- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Sight beyond what I see. WOW!
Is this your declaration on today?
Is it truly your desire for God to give you sight beyond what you see?
In allowing God to give us vision beyond what we see with the natural eyes helps us eliminate a lot of our cares, worries, troubles, anxieties, past hurts and pains, stress, fear, etc.
God knows what is best for us for He alone clearly sees the roads, paths, ditches, trenches, pitfalls, troubles and tragedies ahead.
Walking by faith is the call of the day.
No, it is not easy and never will be, but when we obey and follow the leading of God's Holy Spirit, we see our circumstances and situations through the lense of scripture and not our natural sight which is foggy and dim.
What is faith? According to Hebrews 11:1-Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
God's kind of faith is faith that sees the Words of God in the bible as alive and sharper than any 2 edge sword. Faith that believes beyond what we currently see with the natural eyes. Faith that leads us to application of the Word of God in our lives.
Sight beyond what we see is the "CLARION" call today!
God is calling us to complete trust, dependency and confidence in Him and His Word concerning His promises to us, regardless of what we see right now.
God is looking for those who will declare "NOW FAITH"! Not tomorrow, next week, an hour ago, a month ago faith, but right NOW FAITH that produces a trust in God that eventhough we yet see the evidence, we believe it to be so and already done.
In other words, CRAZY FAITH! Faith beyond what we see that makes no sense to the unbeliever. Faith that makes you and I look like a fool to them when we stand on the promises of God's Word.
I love it when my foes think that I am a fool for believing God.
Most of all, I love their reactions when God manifests what He declares concerning me in His Word right before their very eyes.
How do we get this faith that we as believers are called to live by?
Well, I am glad you asked because God has an answer for that too n His Word in Roman 10:17- So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
In this life, we all will suffer, we all will have things happen to us that causes us to question God, things that will attempt to make us all doubt that God not only sees or cares about what is happening to us, but also makes us question if He is with us.
Yes, because of our past issues, it is hard for many to believe beyond what they have seen or even see right now that may not be going the way they think it should.
As humans we have or have had the tendency to say "I will believe it when I see it", but TODAY, God is calling us to renew our minds through the washing of His Word and see beyond what we see with the natural eyes.
Scripture declares in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has a plan for our lives, He has thoughts concerning us and they are thoughts of good and not evil, they are plans of a future and eternal hope.
Walking by sight and not by "faith" is a wide open gate for all of satan's lies and his works of deceit in hopes of keeping us in "unbelief" with a negative attitude towards God and His promises concerning us.
Today, you must purpose in your heart that you are gonna get in the Word of God, you are gonna believe what it says by faith and that you are gonna trust God for the results that will work best on your behalf because you have chosen to live your life beyond what you see with your natural eyes.
God's Word is true! John 17:17-Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
Numbers 23:19-God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
Believe it or not, but it is in our struggles of life where true "faith" in God can be found.
Sight beyond what you can see? Is this your prayer to the Father on today?
I can only hope and pray that "Faith" in God beyond what you see with your natural eyes is your heart's desire on today.
In declaring faith in God alone and walking with Him according to His word, you are also declaring that what you see with the natural eyes is not God's truth but your truth. God's truth is found in God's Word.
It is God's Word that allows us to walk by faith and not by sight. It is God's Word that give us sight beyond what we see.
Keep studying the Word of God, keep believing it and keep following in obedience to the leading of God's Holy Spirit.
As we continue to follow the leading of God's Holy Spirit, day by day our natural sight become dimmer and dimmer and our spiritual sight will become clearer and clearer.
One point I want to make is regardless of where you may find yourself on today in your faith, God is calling you to a greater faith in Him that is based on His Word concerning you and not on what has happened to you in the past or may even be going on with you right now.
Let this day be the day that you begin to see beyond what you see through the lense of scripture.
God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for removing the scales from our eyes so that we are now able to see what He sees concerning us in the Spirit.
God alone knows what is best for you and I.
