Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up.
Life is filled with highs, lows, ups and down.
The situations of life are sometimes in our control to a degree and then there are times when they are not. Regardless, they come on a daily basis and can often cause many to quit or just give up right where they are because they see no need to continue the fight or struggle in which they have found themselves in.
Are you willing to admit that there are times when you are weary and tired? If we could be honest for moment, I believe we all can answer "yes" to this question. Life has a way of making us all weary at times, but the key is to not give into it and quit.
Let us not get weary in well doing. I guess your question to this statement would be "how in the world is this possible? Do you truly understand what I am going through?"
Well, I do understand the struggles, disappointment, pain and sufferings from the test and trials of life.
2 Corinthians 12:9 - "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
God is able to provide us strength for the journey, strength for every thing that He has called us to do, strength for every test, trial and temptation. He is able to daily strengthen us so that we may endure until the end.
Are you weary in well doing? The Apostle Paul exhorts us to not be weary in doing what is right. WHY? Because quitting in the midst of weariness will cause us to miss out on the harvest that is produced from not being weary and giving up.
The benefit to reaping the harvest from being faithful even in our weariness will come at God's appointed time. It WILL happen if we do not give up and quit.
The blessing is on the way. The only question is are we willing to wait for it?
What is the harvest that we are guaranteed to reap? The "fruit" from the seeds we have sown is the harvest we will reap. What are you sowing? That is what you will reap.
If we remain faithful to the task that God has assigned to our hands, the question is not if we shall reap, but when we shall reap. We must wait until the season is right. In God’s time the reaping will come. The Word of God will NEVER fail.
Hold on people of God for the day of harvest is coming! Or, as my grandma and mother would say "pay day is coming after while." HOLD ON!
