Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek the Lord while He may be found, call you upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
The cry of the hour is to "SEEK GOD" and "DO IT NOW" for life is short and time is filled with swift transition.
SEEK=zéteó in the greek and means I seek, search for, desire, require, demand.
To seek ( in order to find out) by thinking, meditating, reasoning; to inquire. To God to the Lord, to step to Him.
This message of Isaiah was preached to Israel and Judah back then, but God is sending forth this same message today as a universal message to ALL people everywhere to walk towards Him. To come to Him with our eyes, heart and minds fixed on Him.
Today, God is calling for death to the flesh. Death to self and all it's sinful pleasures. Take up your cross and follow Him is the command.
Isaiah 55:5-You will call out to nations you have never known. And they have never known you, but they will come running because I am the Lord, the holy God of Israel, and I have honored you.
Run after the Lord all ye people! He is calling you to "seek Him" on today. He alone is the one who can hide you in the midst of life's storms. SEEK HIM NOW!!
The call to "SEEK" the Lord while He may be found is a command to us ALL. For as long as we live on this earth, we are to seek the Lord, pursue Him with all our being and follow Him with a passion for when we do this we will not be lost nor feel as though we have lost Him.
Seek the Lord while He may be found is a call with URGENCY! Look at the chaos in the world. This is definitely a sign that the time to seek the Lord is NOW! We are being called to turn to God and confess our sins, forsake our evil ways and repent.
Living apart from God on your own and doing what pleases you? I urge you to seek the Lord on today. Call upon Him and He will save you.
Romans 10:8-13 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.”[d] This is the word of faith that we preach: 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be ashamed.”[e] 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is generous toward all who call upon Him. 13 For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Why remain under God's judgment and wrath for sin when you can come under grace and mercy through salvation for the forgiveness of your sin?
Tomorrow is not promised to ANY MAN! Our life is described this way in James 4:14-Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen in your life tomorrow. What is secure in your life? You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes into thin air.
Victory is found in Christ alone! SEEK HIM WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND PEOPLE!
Seek the presence of God in your life on today. It is with urgency that you connect with God!
It is with urgency that I urge, beg and plea with you to not put off for tomorrow what you can do today in getting your souls saved.
Living your life as an unbeliever and remaining an unbeliever, non repentant and rebellious against God and think that you will not die apart from Him and that God will show you mercy at judgment. It won't happen for it will be too late for you then, for ONLY judgment and wrath will be your lot.
We are told this in VS#7-7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
Forsake evil and wickedness so that your soul may be saved on today.
CALL ON THE NAME OF JESUS FOR HE IS WAITING TO HEAR FROM YOU. HE WANTS TO SAVE YOU.
SEEK THE LORD NOW WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND!
Thinking about you age and time and have convinced your self into believing that if you wait until tomorrow or sometime in the future when you are older, to seek the Lord would be a good time for you?
Yes, I know your intention is to WAIT, but, the fact of the matter is you do not know where or when death is gonna catch you.
Many people wake up everyday believing they have time in the future to seek God and guess what? Many have not made it pass that day for their life ended in unexpected death. Do not let this happen to you!
I can only hope and pray today that you will seek God through the scriptures for it is there where you will find Jesus Christ. It is there where you will find salvation.
Today is the day to find a bible base church that teaches "sound doctrine" and learn of the Lord on today.
You must hear the Gospel and receive it by faith. Romans 10:14-15a-How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent?
How do you obtain the faith needed to seek God while He may be found? Romans 10:17- So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Today is the day to turn away and look away from sin and self and look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.
CLARION CALL: SEEK YE THE LORD "NOW" WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND. This text tells me that there may come a day when you will look for Him and can not find Him.
TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. "NOW" IS THE ACCEPTABLE TIME!
