Joshua 24:15 - If it is displeasing to you to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve, if it should be the gods your fathers served beyond the River[a] or the gods of the Amorites’ land where you are now living. Yet as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
To serve God or not to serve Him is an individual choice. Yes, the ball is in your hand. You can continue to bounce the ball of your life in every which way you choose while making no progress toward your desired destination of heaven or you can decide on "TODAY" that you will shoot it in the basket of God's hand for a safe ride, journey and final destination with Him by faith through Christ Jesus.
When Joshua brought the choice before Israel as to whom they will serve, he told them "choose "TODAY" whom you will serve. As Joshua did with Israel, I say the same to you "TODAY", choose whom you will service.
We all have a choice to either serve the True and Living God or self created gods, but the truth of the matter is the fact there is only one true God whose name is EL ELYON [el-el-yohn]: “Most High", Elohim [el-oh-heem]: God “Creator, Mighty and Strong”.
To serve God or not to serve Him. We ALL daily make the choice and will continue to make choices as long as we have breath in these bodies as to whom we will serve.
As Joshua declares those many thousands of years go, I declare today to ALL of you that as for me and my house, "WE WILL" serve the true and living God in heaven.
Remember, NONE OF US can pledge allegiance to more than one God at the same time. Either we will love one and hate the other. Matthew 6:24-No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other.
Today is decision making day for you. I can only hope and pray that you choose the Eternal, Everlasting God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL you could ask or think.
To serve God or not to serve Him is your ONLY option!
