Psalm 145:8 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and great in mercy.
Great is thy faithfulness Lord unto us.
God’s unfailing love is gracious and full of compassion. It fails not!
The Lord God revealed the power of His greatness in his mercy towards sinners. Indeed the manifestation of His mercy at the cross is great because His work on the cross was completed and sin was pardoned to be remembered no more.
The greatness of our God is indeed unsearchable for it is too big in it’s greatness to comprehend, but we must believe it.
As the people of God we MUST daily show our gratefulness to the Lord our God for what He has done on our behalf in setting us free from the penalty of sin of his compassionate love for us.
In being gracious and full of compassion, the Lord our God showed us that He was slow to anger and great in His love and mercy towards us.
God desires that ALL men be saved. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Throughout eternity, we will be singing of the Lord’s goodness, His mercy, and grace which He has shown to us in Christ Jesus.
People of God, let us cherish and bask in the Lord’s goodness today and everyday as we ponder what He has done on our behalf in giving us mercy instead of wrath.
People of God, we serve a God who is gracious and compassionate everyday. God of the universe, who is full of love, grace and mercy towards us and is slow to anger.
Those who have not entered a personal relationship with God through Christ Jesus only enjoys temporary goodness but those of us who have put our feet to the Gospel plow and not looked back, those of us who have become a new creation in Christ Jesus, we will enjoy God’s goodness for all eternity.
People of God because of the goodness and compassion of our Great and Sovereign God let us commit to opening wide our mouth in praise and thanksgiving daily to the Lord our God for it is His sustaining love for us, His sustaining grace, mercy, and unfailing compassionate love for us that we are being kept daily.
The Psalmist David reminds us on today that the Lord is gracious to us and that He has bestowed upon us things we don’t deserve, most importantly eternal life with Him through faith in Christ Jesus.
People of God this text is a reminder to ALL of us that we have a responsibility to be gracious to others as God is towards us. Loving God means loving others graciously.
Thank You Lord for your unfailing grace, mercy and compassionate love that is indeed unsearchable but believable with evidence at Calvary Cross over 2k years ago on our behalf.
Father we are grateful to you and we will NEVER forget what you have done for us through your saving grace towards sinful humanity which includes every created being.
We Love you Father and we thank You for being God in the lives of your people.
