1 John 1:25 - And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.
PROMISE="epaggelia" in the greek and mean a summons, promise. The act of promising, a promise given or to be given:
Eternal life="aiónios" in the greek and mean agelong, eternal, unending; partaking of the character of that which lasts for an age, as contrasted with that which is brief and fleeting.
Life eternal with the Father is what's still yet being offered today to humanity. God makes this plea and offer once again for some has yet to receive Him by faith.
Jesus puts it this way in John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
A promise of eternal life! Oh, what a promise!
Do you have the assurance of eternal life on today? If not, God is calling you to Him on today.
Jesus promise eternal life to all that would come to Him by faith on today. He will receive you unto HImself and the promise of eternal life with Him and the Father is guaranteed.
John 6:37-All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
Will you come to the Father on today? It is in Him alone is where eternal life with Him is found.
