1 Peter 3:9-21 Do not repay evil for evil, or curse for curse, but on the contrary, bless, knowing that to this you are called, so that you may receive a blessing. 10 For “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. 11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
13 Who is he who will harm you if you follow that which is good? 14 But even if you suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. “Do not be afraid of their terror, do not be troubled.” 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to every man who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, with gentleness and fear.
16 Have a good conscience so that evildoers who speak evil of you and falsely accuse your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. 17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, that you suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18 For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom He also went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who in times past were disobedient, when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
21 Figuratively this is like baptism, which also saves us now. It is not washing off the dirt from the body, but a response to God from a good conscience through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels and authorities and powers being made subject to Him.
Are you suffering for the sake of righteousness? Fear not for the eyes of the Lord is everywhere. He sees the good and the evil that is roaming the earth.
Do not repay evil for evil, or curse for curse, but trust God when He says "vengeance is mine says the Lord." God will repay wrong done to you if you belong to Him.
When you suffer for the sake of righteousness, the battle is not your's, it belongs to the Lord. The enemy is not coming against you, it is the Lord Himself that is in you that the enemy is fighting against.
God knows your name, He knows where you are right now and He sees all things because His eyes roams throughout the earth.
People of God, there is a purpose in the pain. Trust God in the process because you are not standing still in it, but instead God is carrying you THROUGH it.
Evil will destroy itself! That is a Word from the Lord God Himself.
The eyes of the Lord is upon the righteous and He hears their cry for help.
The eyes of the Lord is also upon those that do evil and His face is against them.
Suffering for righteousness sake? God has a plan that will work on your behalf.
People of God, trust God in all you ways and He will direct your path!
Remember, your enemy is already defeated and you are just going through the process that leads you to victory with God on your side.
