CAST= rhiptó in the greek and mean to throw, cast, spec. to throw off, toss.
Burdened down by the cares of this world? Why carry them anymore when Jesus commands you to cast them upon Him. Let them go! Trust God and let today be your day of release from ALL the temporary cares of this world.
In this text Peter gives us a specific remedy for worry and that is "GOD" dependence and not self reliance. He commands us to throw off worry and put on faith. Surrender ALL YOUR care to the Lord for He cares for you and what you are going through. Carry it no longer!

Regardless of what comes against me, I have purposed in my heart that "JESUS CARES FOR ME' , I belong to Him and I have made up in my mind to continue on in life knowing that God has in the past, He will right now and in the future, carry all my burdens that I release unto Him.
God's Word declares to you this day and everyday that He cares for you! The Word of God does not change. for it is the same yesterday, today and forever.
