Proverbs 22:24-25 Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man you will not go, 25 lest you learn his ways and get a snare to your soul.
Hot tempered! Does this describe your character?
Who is in your inner circle? It’s time to take inventory!
I personally believe that most people come into our lives for a certain reason, time and purpose. I also believe that they come often times for a season and when the season is up, you gotta know it and respond to the leading of the Sprit when He tells you the season is over for that particular relationship to end.
I am there now. God is purging some of the people out of my life that I have known for decades and some for years because the season for them to be in my life is over.
It’s not that I am any better than them or even think that, but the fact of the matter is the Holy Spirit is a teacher and guide who leads, guides and direct us into all truth and righteousness, therefore, we MUST OBEY His leading or miss out on what God is trying to do in and through our lives and where He is taking us spiritually.
I too must admit that I have tolerated negative people in my attempts to put a positive twist on their negativity and worked hard at it with little progress and it became a point where I would just put up with it for the sake of friendship, but God has moved me beyond that point.
I want to please God so negativity has to move from my mind’s address and it is happening yet today as I yet speak to you through this blog. Life is short and Christ is my goal!
Negativity and negative people wears me down. I can’t stand it! It is burdensome so I make every effort to stay away from those kind of people. They will tire you out with that negative talk, negative attitude and negative mindset!
Believe it or not but our friendships have influence on us, either for the good or for the bad. Yes, it is affecting us in some kinda way that is why it is very important for us as people of God to choose our friends wisely. Pray, use discernment and asked God to give you wisdom when choosing who to connect with in relationships.
There are many deceivers out there pretending to be friendly and have a form of godliness but lack the power! Be aware! Wolves in sheep clothing.
Attempting to live a life that pleases God? Choose your friends wisely. Those that you know are sincere in their relationship with God, those who are not hot tempered and easily angered.
If you don’t use wisdom in choosing your relationships you will eventually find yourself in a bad situation that will be hard to get out of. Been there and done that before.
A bad temper, negative attitude, jealous spirit and a bad mindset is contagious. These people are to be avoided at all cost!
Proverbs 22:4-5 Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life. 5 In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls, but those who would preserve their life stay far from them.
God is cleaning house over here and I am glad about it! Waiting with expectation for the next chapter in my life with God!
Hot tempered and full of negativity? I am going to avoid you at all cost!
